Feb 15, 2013 · I have an Anschutz 1517 MPR and a Remington 700 VSF .223. I shoot Hornady 17g V-Max in the HMR and handloads in my .223. Both have fantastic triggers. I replaced the Rem trigger with a Timney. I can shoot 1" groups with the HMR and 1/2" with the .223. I believe the difference is in the ammo. Ultramax was my goto ammo before I started reloading. 50rnd boxes of 50gr vmax for the 223 heavy barrel H&R I had at the time.
